ADDTRON's ADH-1016 is a plug-and-play Dual-speed hub which provides flexible, trouble-free high-speed connectivity with a low cost entry - all while preserving existing network equipment investments. The ADH-1016 provides the power of shared 100Mbps Fast Ethernet with the flexibility to connect 10Mbps Ethernet devices or users to the same hub. The 10/100Mbps auto-negotiating capability on each port provides transparent support for 10Mbps and 100Mbps shared connections, automatically detecting the speed of the attached PC NIC and channeling the data to the appropriate segment. An integrated 2-port bridge ensures seamless integration of 10Mbps and 100Mbps users on the same hub. The hub's architecture provides a flexible, affordable one-box solution. Now you can easily replace a system consisting of one 10Mbps hub, one 100Mbps hub, and one switch with a low-cost device featuring two independent 10 and 100Mbps repeater segments connected by an internal two-port bridge. With the ADH-1016, traffic between devices running at the same speed is isolated within the appropriate repeater segment, while traffic to and from devices running at different speeds is automatically bridged to the other segment by the built-in bridge. Designed for the smoothest and most cost-effective migration to Fast Ethernet, the ADH-1016 works with an existing 10Mbps NICs, and when used with 10/100NICs, automatically upgrades the connection to 100Mbps.
