ADDTRON'S UTP8/SL is a versatile and economical 8-port hub ideal for small workgroups. This hub provides eight (8) RJ-45 ports for normal workstation connection and one AUI/BNC automatic switch port for a network backbone hook-up. With a lightweight and compact design, ADDTRON'S UTP8/SL can be conveniently placed on a desk or wall-mounted by using a bracket that comes with the unit. This IEEE802.3 compliant hub comes with LED indicators to aid network problems and management. For network expansion, ADDTRON'S UTP8/SL hub can be daisy chained to additional hubs via the single AUI/BNC port or the 10Base-T uplink port. The AUI or BNC port can also be used to connect workgroups to a thin coax, thick coax of a fiber-optic network.
