EZ Systems.com was started over 9 years ago. The company is called "EZ Systems" because the founder
always wanted his employees to remember that EZ’s strategy is to.make the customers and vendors experiencewith the company an easy one.
Since 1993, the company has grown from an operation that primarily sold only tape drives and optical drives
into a team that sells tape drives, optical drives, hard drives, printers, media, controllers, servers, laptops, digital cameras and services (repairs, rentals, & data recovery).
EZ’s 4,000 square foot office/warehouse/depot repair facility is located in Santa Ana, Southern California.
From this location, they ship from a stock of over 5,000 models to over 4,000 customers around the globe.
If they do not have the particular make or model in stock you want, they will try to source it from over 1,000 vendors they have developed relationships with over the years.
As a company, EZ has done quite well. 2000 sales were several million dollars and 2001 sales are projected
to be much higher due the company’s emphasis on customer service. 6 professional and knowledgeable
Account Managers are available to assist customers, so the level of customer service is very high which
is fueling their sales growth. Generally, most orders are shipped the same day. The Account Managers
assist with phone in orders and web orders. If needed, live operators are available to answer the phone when
you call. Often the Account Managers cover for each other and customers are given an option to leave a
message in voice mail or with a real person if an account manager is not available.
The operation is truly a "click and mortar" business. EZ sells to OEM’s, distributors, resellers and professional end users via the phone and web page. Orders can be placed by phone or web. The company has sufficient inventory to meet most orders. Presently, a growing share of the business is generated via web marketing activities but EZ knows it is important to be able to service the caller and product. They use what they sell. They repair what they sell. They have it in stock or can get it.
