1st Tier Technology, LLC is what is commonly known in the marketplace as a stocking dealer; simply put we buy and house items (specifically of the Sun/Oracle server variety) and sell from our inventory on the fly from China/ India and the US. This stocking philosophy has increased our ability to better serve the market and clientele expeditiously.
1st Tier was started in February of 2005 and formed out of Delaware on the premise of customer service. Sure, all businesses desire to be that way but along the way that philosophy is pushed aside in favor of dollars, we too enjoy the fruits of our labor here, but we truly understand that we are here only because of the loyal clientele we have harvested and nurtured.
Having said that, around the 6 year mark we invested in China, so many products come out of there, but many fear taking a chance due to their severe counterfeiting/etc. issues that are seemingly ongoing, so we took that into consideration and invested in a set of eyes for us to negate those issues. That investment has been a boon for us, both for product to stock which was the whole reason for this endeavor, but it has also gleaned new clients as well. Using this proven 3 year experiment, we are now going into India using the same premise and will be fully operational in December 2014.
As the market changes, we have to adapt, that is another for our success, we listen to what the client and/or market isn’t saying as well as saying to better understand and deploy our next maneuver, thus keeping us ahead of the curve in that respect.
When you love what you do it isn’t work, we believe our small but effective staff can attest to that mantra as well. We have fun doing what we do, which a huge plus because this job is full-time, by that I mean London, New Delhi, Singapore or Detroit may call at any time given hour, we just put our games faces on, answer the call and due our absolute best in closing the deal and nurturing yet another new client into our family.
