The company is R2:2013 Certified, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001. We have a 250,000 sqft facility on 25 acres in St. Louis – so we’re centrally located – and are in the process of adding another 150,000 sqft to be dedicated to eScrap and battery recycling.
At Interco we work with dealers, manufacturers, and ITAD companies across North America. We take delivery of everything at our facility in St. Louis – we are not brokers, middle-men or resellers – and we quickly and efficiently put together pricing on a per-load basis based on spot commodities market pricing and our inventory position. Nothing at Interco is cookie-cutter; everything we do is specific to the opportunity and in the best interest of all parties.
In addition, everything we buy is on the per-pound basis…nothing by the each. We have no interest in competing with our supplier partners. We will never be in the ITAD or data center decommissioning fields and there is literally zero chance we will ever deal directly with the public. We specialize in high-speed, high-volume, low-margin recycling and we leave the rest up to our trade partners.
On average, we do about 10,000 tons a month of which approximately 1,500-2,000 tons is eScrap and about 500-750 tons is computer wire. There’s literally no eScrap that we cannot or will not recycle. We also process raw materials like anode and cathode that go in to the manufacturing of batteries, etc. |
