The management team for Excess Technologies is built around the highest level of integrity, with extensive experience in areas such as channel sales, marketing, and operations. All senior managers have held high level Director and Vice President positions within major corporations. Leading the operations are company founders, Joel Holtzman and Val Osinski.
Joel is co-founder, President and CEO of Excess Technologies. Previous roles for Mr. Holtzman include founder of TradeUps.com, co-founder of Return.com, Vice President of Internet Business for Eastman Kodak, Vice President of Worldwide Distribution for Eastman Kodak, and Director of Sales for Conner Peripherals (Seagate). Overall, Mr. Holtzman has close to 20 years of technology based sales and marketing experience, focused on traditional distribution channels, marketing, and the Internet within small and large companies.
Val Osinski, also a co-founder, is Vice President of Business Development for Excess technologies. Mr. Osinski has been in sales and business development roles for over 10 years, working as National Director of Sales for major manufacturers, retailers, and mail-order companies including Goto.com, Value America, and Simple Technology. Vals expertise and knowledge stems across many industries, including distribution, manufacturing, and e-commerce, enabling him to provide the Excess Technologies client base with efficient disposition solutions that are tailored to their individual business needs.
