Media converter module used for 100Mbps conversion from 100Base-TX (twisted pair RJ45) to 100Base-FX (singlemode fiber stii connector). Capable of transmitting up to 40+ km depending on power budget. LinkLoss for local side TP link termination when fiber receive side is lost. Fiberalert for far-end fault detection disables local TP link when transmit side is lost. For use in imc6 chassis. Snmp-manageable in conjunction with master module.
