The Collage 743 ATM module provides the physical interface ports for connecting Collage 700 Series Backbone ATM switches to other ATM devices and networks. Each module provides four ports of 155Mbps ATM connectivity using Multimode Fiber (MMF) as the physical transmission medium. It supports hot swap and hot insertion to minimize network down time and add to the fault tolerance capabilities of the Collage 700 Series.
