Sony is offers its SDX3-100C cartridge in AIT-3 format, heralding a significant improvement. The SDX3-100C tape cartridge offers 100GB of native capacity, or 260 GB in compressed form. The SDX3-100C tape cartridge employs the newly developed R-MIC (Remote Memory In Cassette) system.
