Certified Members understand how to do proper deals and enhance the reputation of the industry. Read about our certification process.
In our dedication to promoting ethical trading, being Certified means that Tradeloop has confirmed the Member's information by: completing a 130+ point due diligence check, answering any questions from our Volunteer Advisory Committee, having passed an Ethics Training, and finally having been members on Tradeloop for a minimum of six (6) consecutive months.
New Members are anyone who has passed our entry requirements (due diligence check, Advisory Committee questions) but have not yet completed one of the final two requirements, either an Ethics training or the minimum of six (6) consecutive months of membership. They are on a path to becoming Certified, but are not quite yet.
When Certifying Members, Tradeloop performs 130+ manual and algorithmic checks. This process and system was designed by Tradeloop itself to utilize online sources combined with uploaded credential documents by the member in order to verify the identity of a company, along with their reputation in the industry.
The checks are performed across five different categories, producing a Tradeloop Score which is an at-a-glance ranking of the completion of their due diligence checks, along with a simple comparison of the Member against other Tradeloop members. This information is all displayed in a Due Diligence Report, which all members can view online.
Read more about becoming a member here. From our membership page, you can view our plans and pricing, and start your Tradeloop Membership.
After your membership has been started, we'll ask you to complete our membership application process, where you will be prompted to provide some corporate credentials to help us verify your identity.

If the auto-dialer doesn't work, please let us know, and we can make alternate arrangements.

If you already pay by wire, and need our details, view our wire details here. (You must be logged in to Tradeloop to view.)
When wiring money, please be sure to include any processing fees above your balance due and instruct your bank to not deduct wire fees from your payment, otherwise you may experience a delay in payment processing.
Contact us if you would like to change your existing membership plan. Or visit our Pricing page here.
Before cancelling, consider this: Most people looking to cancel their membership may have another user in their company that is actively using their Tradeloop Membership. Also, most users do not realize there are additional benefits they were not aware of or haven't yet taken advantage of.
To cancel your membership, please contact us directly. We will to do a live assessment of your usage before processing your cancellation.
If you aren't currently a Member and want to know how to close your Non-Member account, please contact us and we can take care of that for you.
P.S. If you are visiting this page and have not yet made up your mind, please contact us. We would like to help you, rather than lose you because we did not know you were having trouble with your account. Often times things like reposting listings, or getting some advice on listings can help you obtain the results you seek.
You have the option to either upgrade to a higher plan, wait until your listings expire (listings have a 7 day duration), OR hide / remove some of your active listings in order to post more.
You will still have the ability to VIEW all content online, but won't be able to create new ones.
The Tradeloop Ethics Process is a complaint board for the entire industry, run by a volunteer committee of industry experts. Disputes can be filed against anyone; most complaints are not against Tradeloop Members and do not originate on Tradeloop.
When a complaint is filed, the Ethics Committee reviews the complaint, asks questions, attempts to mediate, discusses privately, and then votes. Sanctions ranging from a private warning to public banishment can be issued.
This is a service run for the industry. If you've been ripped off, file a complaint. To identify potential risk factors before you complete a transaction, check our ethics database.

See the full explanation here.
The Complaint Procedure has been developed to provide an orderly and interactive process for resolving complaints alleging violations of the Tradeloop Code of Business Practices and Ethics. The page linked above explains how complaints will be filed and processed by the Ethics Committee. The Ethics Committee consists of volunteer Wholesale Members of Tradeloop. The Committee does not render awards of monetary damages.
Tradeloop utilizes a blog-based method for dispute resolution. Blog-based dispute resolution means that all interactions between the Complainant, the Defendant and the Members of the Ethics Committee will occur interactively online.
Tradeloop, as a provider of an 'interactive computer service' is immune from liability for any information posted. Only the "speaker" of the information shall be held liable for what they say. Pursuant to Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, Tradeloop users bear all liability for information they post to Tradeloop. However, Tradeloop does have the right to correct, edit, remove, block, and screen content without being considered a publisher or speaker.
The full Code of Ethics can be found here.
The Tradeloop Code of Business Practices and Ethics is based on long-standing procedures originally established by the Information Technology Resellers Association (ITRA) and the Digital Dealers Association (DDA), former industry trade associations. Tradeloop is a pioneer in offering a blog-based procedure for filing and processing ethics complaints.
Members of Tradeloop's Trading Network pledge to honor and agree to be bound by and abide by the Tradeloop Code of Business Practices and Ethics (the "Code") to ensure high standards in all dealings and business transactions among the Tradeloop Community.
Tradeloop seeks to enforce the Code through a volunteer Ethics Committee consisting of industry peers who are members of Tradeloop, which considers alleged violations and renders sanctions. The Ethics Committee is a blog-based committee. If you are interested in participating on the Tradeloop Ethics Committee, please contact the Committee. For more information on how the ethics process works, please visit the Ethics FAQ.
The Code reflects the dedication of Tradeloop and its Members to maintain the highest level of ethics and professional responsibility in their relationship with the public, other members of the industry and customers. It is our goal to ensure these high standards in all of our dealings and business transactions by, for and among the Tradeloop Community.
Please contact us to submit an application to join our Ethics Committee.
Eligibility & Requirements
- Your company must have been a Certified Member on Tradeloop for over a year.
- Your company cannot have any posted complaints against it.
- You must agree to maintain the confidentiality of ethics cases.
- Ethics Committee Members must vote on all cases within 7 days of posting the Complaint and Response to the Committee.
Membership Dues
As of the 1st of January, 2017, we have added a $5 per month fee to each Tradeloop account. This fee finances our ethics and application processes. We hope you agree that this is a small price to pay to maintain the highest level of ethics and professional responsibility throughout our industry.
What is the Ethics Process?
The Ethics Process involves an independent complaints board run by a volunteer committee of fifteen industry experts (none of whom have a financial interest in Tradeloop).
How does the process work?
Disputes can be filed against anyone in the industry and, when a complaint is filed, the Ethics Committee reviews the complaint, investigates, mediates, discusses findings, and then votes on recommended actions or sanctions. Sanctions range from a private warning to being permanently banned from using the Tradeloop website.
How are the fees used?
The fees are used to fund our software, volunteer expenses, and staff time in administering the process and maintaining the database of members.
Why a separate fund?
Our goal is to provide improved transparency for the process and for it to become self-sustaining.
History of The Code
The Tradeloop Code of Business Practices and Ethics is based on long-standing procedures originally established by the Information Technology Resellers Association (ITRA) and the Digital Dealers Association (DDA), former industry trade associations.
Why is it important to have impartial committee members?
Tradeloop believes there is a conflict of interest for any trading network that has an active role in a decision-making process which involves the possibility of banning a member (who is, after all, a paying customer of the network).
We believe the only way to deal with complaints about behaviour, payment issues or counterfeiting is via an impartial committee.
Tradeloop's volunteer Ethics Committee consists of a diverse group of industry experts who have no stake in the outcome of their decisions. We believe there is no fairer way to resolve disputes. We hope you agree and we thank you for your continuing support.
If you are involved in an Ethics Complaint, the best thing to do is to respond directly in the online Ethics Case blog. Provide a short, concise and transparent response to let the Ethics Committee know you want to address the issue(s). Do NOT ignore the case, even if you're still working with the claimant, and think they're going to withdraw it.
We also recommend immediately collecting and uploading any relevant communications, documents, timelines or other transaction documents into the documentation section of the case. A clear picture of what occurred during the transaction will be greatly appreciated by the Ethics Committee.
Other Ethics Case Tips:
- Remove emotion, provide just the facts, and NEVER any personal attacks.
- Clear, concise, honest responses in the blog.
- Respond in a timely fashion to any Committee questions or requests.
- Be accountable for any mistakes, no excuses, just solutions.
