The StorageWorks Enclosure 4300 family was developed, designed and engineered by Compaq. Additionally, the drive carrier is designed to support fast Ultra2 and Ultra3 hard drives on the same SCSI bus each running at its own optimum SCSI protocol. Models 4314R is universal drive enclosures and are supported behind Compaq Smart Array controllers, HSGx0 controllers and adapters.
